Runs three times a day. Pre-market at 8:45, midday at 11:00, and 15:45 before the close. It skips weekends, holidays and early closes on its own.
Prices first. The three ETFs, the 5, 10 and 30 year yield curve, and the overnight bond futures. At 8:45 the ETFs have barely traded, so the futures carry the read. Any quote older than 45 minutes is marked stale and treated as unknown.
Then the news. Claude searches the last 24 hours for data releases, Fed comments and auction results, and writes up the facts. No opinion, no recommendation.
A second pass scores it. Minus 100 to plus 100 against a fixed rubric, with a confidence level and the drivers behind it. That call has no web access. It sees only the prices and the brief.
Code picks the ticker, not the model. Above plus 25 is TLT. Below minus 25 is TBT. Anything between is cash. Same score in, same answer out, every time.
Opening costs more than holding. It takes a score of 25 to open a position and only 10 to keep one. That gap is what stops it flipping three times in a day.
Everything is logged before the alert goes out. A dead mailbox cannot lose a call, and a failed run sends its own alert instead of going quiet.
